Project Manager; Sports Medicine Event Planner; Athlete

Rob is an experienced Sports Medicine Event Planner and Health Care Project Manager. He enjoys working with sports- related organizations that are inspired and want to make a difference. 

Rob was the Medical Services Operations Manager for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, responsible for coordinating the Games’ medical services planning and also for managing the daily operations of the Medical Team at Games- time. He was a Medical Services advisor to the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games organizing committees. He was responsible for all host medical services for the 2016 Americas Masters Games in Vancouver, B.C., and the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, B.C. Prior to his involvement with Olympic Games planning, he spent over 15 years as a senior planner for various health authorities in the Lower Mainland of B.C. Rob was the Program Development and Planning Lead for Fortius Sport & Health, a state-of-the-art $61 million Athlete Development Centre that opened in Burnaby, BC in 2013. 

Rob rowed competitively for 8 years and represented Canada at the 1985 World Rowing Championships in Belgium. He coached university rowing for 10 years.
